Zinc
Spruce is a source of zinc, a natural antioxidant. Benefits of zinc include helping support a strong immune system, skin integrity, as well as a host of other benefits for both men and women.

Zinc is a nutrient that people need to stay healthy and plays many vital roles in the body. Zinc is considered an essential nutrient – this means the body can’t make or store it, and we need to consume it regularly in our diets. Zinc is technically a mineral as opposed to a vitamin. Minerals are inorganic elements that come from the soil and water and are absorbed by plants or eaten by animals, whereas vitamins are organic substances (made by plants or animals).
WHAT IS ZINC?
Zinc benefits many bodily processes and is especially well known for its role in child development. It’s considered essential that children have adequate zinc levels because not having enough of it can impact the rate at which they grow and increase the chance of them developing infections, diarrhoea and respiratory diseases.
Zinc fact: zinc is the second-most-abundant trace mineral in your body — after iron — and is present in every cell.
